The Testing Process
Our diagnostic assessment battery will give a definitive diagnosis of dyslexia and will also tell the level of severity (out of four distinct levels) and the kind of dyslexia present (dyseidetic, dysphonetic, or dysphoneidetic). We suggest you budget two to two-and-a-half hours for the testing to be completed. The testing process consists of the administration of a battery of test instruments focused on dyslexia and cognitive processing related disciplines. We follow up within a couple of weeks with a one-hour consultation to explain and translate the results.
When results are given, a projection of time is also estimated for completion of the program. Goals and objectives of therapy are outlined, and the rules and regulations of the clinic are explained.
